Marketing Assistant
Job Description
Our client is a recognized global leader in medical biotechnologies, specializing in cellular therapies. We seek a proactive, detail-oriented Marketing Assistant to support our clients' marketing initiatives. This position requires someone who is passionate about delivering memorable experiences while driving brand awareness. This role is 100% onsite in Jersey City, the hours are 9 am-5 pm and the salary range is $60K-$65K. This is an excellent opportunity for someone early career to come on board with an exciting, growing organization. There is strong potential for travel within the U.S..
Responsibilities:
- Assist in creating the scheduling of digital marketing campaigns (social media, email marketing, and website updates).
- Coordinate production of promotional materials, presentations, and marketing collateral.
- Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities.
- Support the Marketing Manager with administrative tasks, reports, and content management.
- Plan and execute company events, trade shows, sponsorship activations, and community outreach programs.
- Manage event coordination, including vendor communication, contracts, permits, and on-site coordination.
- Develop event timelines, checklists, and post-event evaluations.
- Assist with budgeting, invoices, and expense tracking for events.
Job Requirements
Requirements/Qualifications/Skills:
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or related field
- 2-3 Years of experience in marketing and event planning in the pharmaceutical or medical device industry
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Familiarity with social media platforms, email marketing tools, and basic design software
- Ability to multi-task and work in a fast paced, constantly changing environment
- Flexibility to work occasional evenings and weekends for events
- Creative thinker with attention to detail
- Team player who is comfortable working independently and as part of a team
- Customer service mindset when interacting with clients and vendors
- Experience working with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Proficient in Adobe Software and Figma a PLUS
