Contract Bi-Lingual Human Resources Specialist

Our client, a manufacturing company located in Elmwood Park, NJ, is currently looking for a Human Resources Specialist that is a problem solver and comfortable working with and learning new systems. The successful candidate must be Spanish/English bilingual and be looking for an opportunity that offers growth - a great chance to leverage your existing HR experience to the next level. This is a 100% onsite role with no option for remote work.
- Own the recruitment function and onboarding process, including posting job openings, reviewing resumes, conducting interviews, and completing new hire paperwork.
- Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
- First point of contact for employee inquiries around payroll, benefits, policies, etc..
- Provide support for employee benefits administration, including enrollment, changes, and terminations.
- Assist with employee relations matters, including conflict resolution and disciplinary actions.
- Coordinate training and development initiatives for employees.
- Ensure accuracy of data in HRIS system and manage reporting.
- Perform general administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and maintaining HR documents.
-Bilingual Spanish/English is required
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in a Human Resources role.
- Knowledge of HRIS systems and ability to navigate and utilize them effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to multitask and prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
