ContinuitiHR is currently working with a client in the healthcare manufacturing space located in Woodbridge, NJ on a Director, HR Business Partner role.  This opportunity will serve as an internal consultant to global management providing strategic HR solutions to ensure the success of the business.  This position with act as the SME for leaders by providing HR counsel, challenge and support on coaching/training, performance management, organizational design, talent management, and issue resolution.  This position will have one direct report in a support role and there will be global travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities:

1. Partner with the executive leadership team members and their leadership teams by actively engaging in the development and execution of business strategies by defining and aligning integrated HR strategies

2. Assess organizational performance through leading talent management and performance management activities - defining talent gaps and proposing HR solutions that support client business objectives


3. Create and execute a lifecycle approach to talent management focused on forecasting,staffing, on-boarding, development, performance management, career/succession planning, talent movement and retention, leveraging rigorous workforce analysis and insights


4. Serve as a strategic business advisor to executive team on key organizational and management issues


5. Coach business leaders on leadership behaviors and practices, employee communication, development and performance management strategies and tactics to promote engagement and a culture of continuous growth and development


6. Develop collaborative partnerships with HR and functional partners - Develop partnerships with HR Functional teams (i.e., Comp, L&D, Recruitment), HR Regional Teams (NA/LAC, EMEA-ANZ, ASIA) and other staff groups (Finance, Communications) to deliver integrated solutions to HR-related needs


7. Lead/Assist in Organizational design activities to streamline and implement new organization structures, roles and/or processes that create speed and efficiency and support rapidly shifting business demands


8. Develop and implement change management strategies to support and critical evolution of the business and achieve desired business results that are sustainable over time


9. Participate in M&A activities as needed ensuring employees are treated in a fair and consistent manner


10. Maintains awareness of current employment law, HR best practices, and trends to ensure the business conforms with regulations and develops appropriate people strategies in readiness for future business developments

REQUIREMENTS

Education
• Bachelor's degree
• Master's degree with emphasis on HR Management a plus
• PHR or SPHR certification is a plus

Job Experience
• 8-10+ years of experience as an HR Business Partner/Generalist - Performance management, talent management, succession planning, recruitment and selection, training and development
• Must have global HR experience

Knowledge and Skills
• Experience of successfully designing and guiding organizational changes at the Executive level
• Strong and tenacious but diplomatic
• Strong Communication skills across all levels of organization
• HRIS systems experience (ideally Oracle)
• Experience working in a matrix environment preferred
