The Contract HR Generalist provides support to HR Leadership for the day to day operations of the Human Resources Department in the areas of employee relations, legal compliance, benefits, training and development, recruitment, performance management, employee health & safety and process development.

Provides all new employees with training on company policies, procedures, and benefits as part of orientation and on-boarding.

Composes/posts employment ads; resume screening; interviewing; manages employment proposals and offer letters.

Off-boarding and exit interviews.

Management of LOA and FMLA programs.

Assists in the management of benefit programs; processing benefit enrollments(new hires/open enrollment), changes, terminations and COBRA.

Assists with monitoring of exempt and non-exempt employee time and attendance as well as state and federal wage and hour laws, and FLSA classification standards.

Assists with employee relations

Maintains and files Safety Data Sheets

Bachelor's Degree

Proven HR experience applying pertinent federal and state regulations, such as COBRA, FMLA, ADA, HIPPA

3+ years of prior HR work experience in a Pharmaceutical, Biotechnological or Clinical environment
