Contract Benefits Coordinator

The Benefits Coordinator is responsible for the administration company benefit programs, including group health, dental, vision, short-term, and long-term disability, worker’s compensation, life insurance, flexible spending, 401(k), as well as the administration of all LOA. Must be able to provide excellent customer service and supporting the HR team by assisting in special projects.
- Performs benefit administration on various employee benefit programs, such as group medical, dental, vision, life, disability, including claim resolution, change reporting and communicating benefit information to employees.
- Distributes all benefits enrollment materials and determines eligibility.
- Processes and administers all leave-of-absence requests and disability paperwork including medical, personal, disability and FMLA.
- Effectively interprets FMLA and ADA implications as they relate to leaves of absences/disabilities.
2-3 years experience as a benefits coordinator or administrator
2-3 years experience in LOA administration
High School Diploma or G.E.D. required
Experience working with ADP WFN is preferred
Proficiency in Excel and Word required
