ContinuitiHR has been exclusively devoted to the placement of HR professionals in Interim, Consulting and Direct Hire roles nationally since 2003! Currently, we are working with a client in the insurance industry on a Benefits Manager position. The ideal candidate would have proven experience in self-funded Employee Benefits/Retirement strategy, design, administration, governance and compliance. The role will sit at their headquarters location in Mid-Town Manhattan and report to the CHRO.

Responsibilities:

Hands-on responsibility of the day-to-day administration of all employee benefits programs such as medical, dental, FSA, HSA, STD, LTD, Life, 401(k)

Plan and lead enrollment

Design and management of Wellness programs

Develop communication and education campaigns to ensure effective messaging

Management of leave programs and drive policy and practice revisions as necessary

Guardianship of 401(k) plan within a 3(16) and 3(21) structure

Management of audits and plan testing

Review and authorize monthly expenses


 

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree

5+ years experience with U.S. Benefits must include self-funded health plan management

CEBS and PHR/SPHR strongly preferred

ADP WorkforceNow preferred
